May Day And Spring Virtual Concert Celebration

Touchet School District is proud to announce that we have been approved for a modified May Day celebration followed by a spring music concert. Although it will look differently due to social distancing guidelines and restrictions, we are committed to honoring our tradition. This year, May Day will consist only of the “Court” being recognized then followed by our Spring music concert assembly outside.
The Touchet School District will need to comply with federal, state, and local requirements. Attendees will be required to follow health and safety requirements, including masking and social distancing. May Day will be held outdoors on the TSD Football Field.
Only families of the “Court” will be allowed entrance to the event. Those students selected as Royalty will receive five (5) tickets for their families to ensure compliance with capacity limits outside. The ceremony will be live streamed and recorded.
May Day Celebration: (Football Field)
- Entry location is on Champion St.
- There will be wellness check for our families.
- Five tickets per family.
- Each family will be assigned a 10x10 Square foot area on the football field. Families can bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on. No food, water is ok.
- Exiting May Day Celebration:
- Royalty and court will begin their recession
- A school official will release families
- We are asking that families do not gather for extended time as to follow our guidelines and restrictions set by DOH.
