Annual Notification of Referral for Highly Capable Services:
Referrals for testing for participation in Touchet Schools Highly Capable Services are currently being accepted. Anyone may refer a student including parents, teachers, other students, and members of the community.
Highly Capable Services are designed to address the needs of highly capable students in grades K-12. Your school has information explaining the program options, identification process, and the schedule for testing. Referral forms are available in both school offices. Those already identified for Highly Capable Services need not complete the referral process again. Additional information can also be obtained through your school’s Highly Capable Services Coordinator, Lisa Franklin, or district administrators Robert Elizondo, Superintendent, and Dusti Crenshaw, Principal.
| Students K-12 who are screened in for further assessment will be tested in March 2021 for possible placement. Once your student has been scheduled, the date will not be re-scheduled except for a true family emergency or illness. Notification will be made in March. |
Referrals must be returned to your school office by March 5, 2021, or mailed to the district at:
