Our third graders have worked diligently this year on learning how to compose 3 types of writing. Narrative stories, informative essays, and opinion pieces. Here they are practicing the performance task of the Smarter Balanced Assessment from the OSPI portal of interim tests, using anchor charts to help guide and frame their thinking and writing. Their teacher is super proud of each of them and the progress they have made in writing this year! Way to go Touchet Third Graders!

Today's middle school softball game has unfortunately been canceled due to scheduling conflicts.
We wanted to take this opportunity to remind everyone that the best place to find all the latest information and updates about the Touchet School District is right on your phone through our Touchet School District Redhawk App!
If you haven't already, please download the app and turn on notifications so you don't miss out on anything happening around Touchet School.

Tomorrow they will find out how they all did and make the trek back home to share their excitement and experiences!

Congratulations to all of our 6-month Book-It readers! It's amazing to see so many kids reading consistently for half a year. Let's keep up the good work and make reading a part of our summer too!

Our amazing FBLA team has started their competition today and they all look fabulous in their sharp business attire. Yesterday, after arriving in Spokane, they took the time to explore the downtown area, had a delicious meal at Chili's, and then attended the opening session.
Today, the competition began with students demonstrating their knowledge of Business Ethics, delivering Elevator Speeches, and reciting the FBLA Mission Pledge!
GO REDHAWKS!

The team is looking forward to this opportunity to test themselves and learn from their experiences.
Let's GO Redhawks!

Weather permitting on Tuesday, May 7th, the 5th-grade students along with the 9th and 10th-grade biology class will be releasing salmon into the Touchet River from 8-10 am.
